In the Spotlight is a colorful and deep going musical about Kencol, a cheeky drag queen in the 1980, who tries to survive in a society that sees his art as scandal. As one of these people, the racist cop Richard, makes it to his task to “make the city pure again”, Kencol and the drag queens must fight for their club, but more important for right to be who they are.
